ROCK STARS is a weekly gathering of kids with special needs at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
During the 10:30am service on Sunday mornings, a team of adults and teenage helpers shower love and care on children with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. We have a centrally-located room close to the worship center that is bright and exciting and filled with all sorts of fun. During our time together, our kids listen to music, play games, hear a lesson about the love of Jesus…and participate in any other sort of fun we can find!
For more information, or to pre-register your child, call our church office at (352) 726-7335.
GriefShare is a 13-week support group hosted by Cornerstone Baptist Church several times throughout the year. This ministry is for anyone, church member or not, who is grieving due to the death of a loved one. Since true healing only comes from God and His Word, we strongly encourage those in need of hope, healing, and restoration to attend.
Weekly sessions use videos, testimonies, and Bible study to help participants with grief recovery. A workbook for additional study is also available. Our group meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:00pm in Room A-4. Once per month, we also meet at the Ice Cream Doctor (in Inverness) on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:00pm for pure fun. Past and present group members usually join in for the informal time of encouragement.
Contact the group facilitators Gene and Gail King for more information.

Wednesday nights are all about discipleship and growing in our faith. Once again, we strive to meet the needs of all people across all age groups.
We have classes for adults, programs for teenagers, and special activities for children. With the exception of one senior adult group that meets at 3:45pm, all classes kick off at 6pm. On any given Wednesday night, we have multiple classes for adults that focus on books of the Bible, spiritual disciplines such as prayer or evangelism, or various topics focused on practical living. Our children’s ministry (1st – 5th grades) gets wild and loud with their specially-designed programs, as do our teenagers in our youth ministry (6th – 8th grades). ***(9th - 12th grade meets on Sunday Evening @ 6:00)
Currently we have a general Bible Study being led by Pastor Greg.
Also there is currently a men's and womens' bible studies as well.
